Who is the site for?The prime focus of the site is to be a portal (gateway) to information on the local area and the wider surrounding area (which covers about 30 min. drive from the Great Park - that definition is flexible to suite local needs but includes postcode areas ).
It's secondary aim is to help users of the Internet find their way around quickly without having to spend lots of time learning where everything is. It is for residents and visitors to the area, prospective visitors and prospective residents. The site is part of a project called the Great Park Portal which is aiming to provide local content for all areas listed in the target area here. More details on the project will be available shortly. The site is non-profit making but charges for some of its services to advertisers to fund the cost of running the service. Please refer to the advertise section on the home page if you would like to advertise.
